West Ham's Manuel Lanzini out of Argentina squad

The West Ham ace ruptured his cruciate knee ligament in training on Friday as Argentina confirmed on their official Twitter page.

Breaking news coming out of Barcelona as Manuel Lanzini is out of the World Cup for Argentina.

Manuel Lanzini is set to miss the World Cup after suffering a knee injury in Argentina training. Argentina have not yet confirmed who they will call up as his replacement. Lanzini has earned four caps to date and scored his first senior worldwide goal in a 2-0 friendly victory over Italy.
