Dontnod Announces Free Title The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit

Dontnod Announces Free Title The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit

It will launch free of charge on June 26.

Life is unusual, an episodic series, launched in 2015.

The game itself will put players into the role of a 10-year-old boy named Chris, who "dreams of being a superhero".

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit follows an imaginative young boy living alone with his father. Well, while that title is in development, the team will first be joining forces with publisher Square Enix to release a self-contained "narrative Life is odd experience".

Bethesda Officially Announces The Elder Scrolls VI
In "Abyss", you must fight your way through enemies in both "hand-crafted" and procedurally-generated maps to collect treasure. Bethesda purposefully didn't say much about the game because they're holding back a full reveal until Quakecon in August.

Presumably, the game might be a precursor to Life is odd season 2, although that wasn't actually alluded to in the announcement. With Captain Spirit, we'll get our first taste of what Dontnod meant with that statement.

The Square Enix published game will feature an original story in the "Life is Strange" universe and seems to feature the relationship between a father and his son. A prequel series, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, launched in 2017. You will most likely see and discover new content on subsequent playthroughs which you might have previously missed.

The world of Life Is Strange is back with another story - The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit.

Life Is Strange is evolving into some giant connected universe, and The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is just a small part of that.
