The 'B' in IHOB stands for ... wait for it ... BURGERS!

I visited an IHOP, where they already had signs up potentially revealing the surprise: "The 'b" is for "burgers".

Ending weeks of speculation, guessing and joking the International House of Pancakes (IHOP) will now be known as IHOB, with that "B" standing for burgers. So for those concerned about IHOP permanently changing their name shouldn't worry.

The wait is over, and the change has been revealed. "But we want to convey that we are taking our burgers as seriously as our pancakes".

Calling the new menu item the "Ultimate Steakburger", IHOb says the seven varieties are on sale morning, noon, and night, according to a news release.

The 65-year-old, who grew up in Lancashire, was knighted in the Queen's Birthday Honours List. The Treasury refused and for six years the Ineos headquarters remained in Switzerland.

"We're sticking with IHOb as long as we can", Haley told The Post.

Fans of the chain don't appear impressed by the new name. "The vast majority of people were having fun with the name change and were trying to solve the riddle". Most people thought it would be "breakfast" or "brunch". So now there are a million and 1 restaurants which serve burgers near you.

"@IHOb so are you still going to have pancakes and breakfast???"

In an effort to put the spotlight on its lunch and dinner offerings, the chain announced on Monday that the "b" stands for "burgers".
