Nacho has admitted that he is relishing the prospect of potentially being tasked with stopping Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo when Spain take on Portugal in the World Cup next week.

According to the same story, Juventus are keen on adding Ronaldo to their squad and have good ties with Real Madrid.

A new contract with his current employers is thought to be on the rocks, largely due to club president Florentino Perez refusing to honour promises made to the player and his representatives.

Ronaldo has scored 18 goals in El Clasicos in all competitions, joint-highest with Real Madrid legend Alfredo Di Stéfano for most goals scored for Real Madrid in El Clasico.

Conservative MP Sarah Wollaston said on Monday morning she was " minded " to defy party orders and back the meaningful vote amendment.

Effectively ruling out the Middle East, China, Japan and the Middle East for the time being, Ronaldo is understood to be interested in Ligue 1, Serie A or returning to the Premier League.

Recent talks between Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes and Real's top-brass haven't helped bring an agreement and the talisman's decision is "irreversible" unlike a year ago, Diario Record, a Portugal daily, has claimed.

Real Madrid became the first team to win three on the trot, and Ronaldo now has five Champions League medals to show for - four with the Los Blancos, and one with former club, Manchester United.

A romantic return to Manchester United has always been on the cards, as has opting for a lucrative change of scene with Paris Saint-Germain. "We all want Ronaldo to stay and Neymar has our doors wide open", Marcelo said.
