Singer, 13, earns Howie Mandel's golden buzzer on America's Got Talent

America's Got Talent airs on Tuesday nights on NBC AT 8/7c.

When British teen Courtney Hadwin stepped onto the stage to audition on America's Got Talent, no one could have expected what happened next.

Judge Howie Mandel goes on to liken her to Janis Joplin.

Launching into Otis Redding's 'Hard to Handle', Courtney left the judges and everyone in the crowd completely speechless - jaws basically dropped everywhere.

First she was on "Ellen", then on NBC's "Little Big Shots".

Sophie calls him "Mr. Simon".

Courtney, from Hesleden, auditioned in front of stars Simon Cowell, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel, blowing them away with her powerful voice.

When the music started, the 13-year-old transformed into a mini Janis Joplin.

Courtney Hadwin gets the golden buzzer and she moving straight to the live shows.

"I'm not Clyde Davis".

What can you say about Courtney Hadwin's performance? "The only thing I can do for you, young lady, is give you..." After she was done rocking out, the judges were quick to shower Courtney with praise.

Courtney is no stranger to talent shows - she also competed in The Voice Kids in 2017 and was mentored by McFly and McBusted star Danny Jones.

"America's Got Talent" returns for its fourth night of auditions next Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CityTV.
