NBA Draft rumors: 76ers attempting to move up to top 5

NBA Draft rumors: 76ers attempting to move up to top 5

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Atlanta Hawks are leaning toward taking Doncic with the third overall pick of the draft later this week.

The Atlanta Hawks have listened to trade offers for the pick but are rumored to be seeking a premium to move down in the draft (same with the Grizzlies at No. 4). "He is a 6'8" point-forward gifted at running the pick-and-roll, is a great playmaker in transition, and he is the best passer in this draft.

A scintillating tidbit was dropped earlier today via Jonathan Givony of ESPN claiming that the Sacramento Kings are not particularly interested in Luka Doncic and are, in fact, much higher on Marvin Bagley III out of Duke - who we recently mocked to the Atlanta Hawks with the 3 overall pick.

Australia's Warner joins St Lucia Stars in CPL
Warner will be next seen in action in the Global T20 tournament in Canada, where he has signed by Winnipeg Hawks. He further added his expectations of Warner adding value to the dressing room and on the field as well.

"Pick one to five, it will be incredible to be selected there, especially for a European guy", Doncic told Yahoo Sports.

"I need to show it on the court, because I need to prove it".

For the latter group, whose identities feel more concrete, there's an argument to be made that the situation they're drafted into matters less. The Phoenix Suns have four picks in the draft (two in each round), meaning that if they don't make a trade, there will be at least three rookies on the roster next season (presuming the 59th pick is a draft-and-stash). He also may be the most NBA ready player in this draft, having been a star (EuroLeague MVP) at the highest level of basketball outside of the United States. You put him in a ball screen, middle of the floor, with a good roller, it's a really tough cover. I want to thank everyone in Real Madrid for helping me.
