India vs England 1st T20I Live Cricket Score Updates Old Trafford

The three-match T20I series involving India and England will start on Tuesday (3rd July), the first match of the tournament will be played at the Old Trafford, Manchester.

Virat Kohli and co. will take this series as preparation for the next year World Cup which will be happening in the same country. Hello and welcome to the live blog of India versus England 1st T20I at Old Trafford. "We just came off the IPL (Indian Premier League) and a couple of games against Ireland, where the team has looked great", he pointed out.

While England impressed against Australia, the tourists were without a raft of first choice players including former captain Steve Smith and his deputy David Warner, who are serving one-year bans for their roles in March's ball-tampering scandal. We believe that we have a great side to put up a great fight. Kohli has time and again spoken of how Kuldeep is an attacking option for him and the bowler will definitely look to bring on his best against an English batsman in breathtaking form at present. We want to play competitive cricket. The point was that we hadn't played on those wet and those damp conditions ever as a team.

Regrouping after nearly a three-month long gap, India used the Ireland T20Is as a good warm-up, registering facile wins of 72 and 143 runs but more importantly giving the whole squad good game time before the challenging series against the Englishmen. England would want to win it back on their home soil. Attitude will be key. No one can guarantee results but just wanting to win every ball, every session we play. "If we can carry that for the length of the tour, I will be really proud as a captain and we will be really proud of ourselves as a team". Kohli, though, wasn't surprised with Buttler's highly impressive showing. I feel anyone who plays well on that particular day has better chances of winning. It is just that he's got more opportunity to play for Rajasthan Royals in this season to show his skillset, and he's certainly enjoying that role at the top of the order.

The 25-year-old is also a part of the India A team, which is now in England playing tri-series with England Lions and West Indies.

De Gea finally speaks after Spain's poor performance in Russia
Iniesta won the UEFA Best Player in Europe award in 2012 and was named the IFFHS World's Best Playmaker in 2012 and 2013. Some fans in Moscow on Monday were still recovering from their emotional outbursts during and after the match.

"I think our experience of playing in the IPL is of benefit to us".

"Purely because we didn't know the guys enough to be able to have conversations with them". They're nine days of getting used to English weather - which is uncharacteristically warm at the moment - trying out different players, and "being flexible".

As regards changes in the batting order, Kohli said the team will be more flexible in its approach as a few players will be tried out in T20Is and ODIs.

"We're certainly going to be a lot more flexible".
