Social media lit up again Thursday night after Allen and former Oklahoma star Trae Young got tangled up, more than anything else, during an National Basketball Association summer league game between Allen's Utah Jazz and Young's Atlanta Hawks.

Trent was able to play 19 minutes for the Blazers, the most of any bench player and clearly took advantage of his opportunity. You're telling me that's not fun?

"I took my step at the free-throw line, just wanted to take off", he said afterward. 5 overall pick suffered a right quad contusion.

Allen, a first-round draft pick by the Utah Jazz, tripped players a few times in college and it became a topic of national conversation.

U.K.'s senior official in charge of Brexit resigns
It was reported that the former prime minister David Cameron had been drafted in before the meeting to urge him not to resign. Theresa May's Government is in deep crisis after David Davis dramatically resigned as Brexit Secretary on Sunday night.

That should be cute, but the only showdown that matters occurred on Thursday night during an NBA Summer League game, of all places.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Chris Vivlamore reported Young's injury "is not considered serious", which is good news for him and the Hawks.

Both players will look to improve on what was a successful debut in the Las Vegas Summer League.

All 30 NMA teams are taking part in the Summer League this year for the first time.
