Cardi B announces birth of daughter in Instagram post

The baby, born Tuesday, is partially named for her father.

The 25-year-old rapper welcomed Kulture Kiari Cephus during a post on Instagram Wednesday, which her representative confirmed.

She also told the host that Offset, 26, had chosen their daughter's name.

Cardi hasn't shared any photos of Baby Bardi just yet, so keep an eye out for more info soon.

Cardi B is a new mommy.

Cardi B has announced the arrival of her first child - daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus.

Harry and Meghan due in Dublin for two-day visit
The two dazzled in very different but equally gorgeous looks, with Meghan wowing in a designer and cut she has never worn before. They have a jam-packed itinerary in Dublin including meetings with the Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar, and Irish President, Michael D.

The baby's name is an apparent nod to albums Culture and Culture II from Migos, the rap group of which Offset is a member.

The news emerges days after Cardi, real name Belcalis Almanzar, was falsely rumoured to have checked into a hospital in Atlanta, Georgia to prepare to give birth on Friday.

This is the first child for Cardi B and Offset. Some fans wondered why the baby's name didn't start with a "B" - Cardi's preferred consonant - and made comparisons to the Kardashian family's penchant for "K" names.

Cardi B confirmed in June that she had married partner Offset in September past year.

The hip-hop superstars recently disclosed that they were secretly married last September in a private ceremony in their home. After months of speculation, the Grammy-nominated artist shared she was pregnant during a musical performance on "Saturday Night Live" in April.
