Trump Bragged About Kim Summit to NATO Leaders

Pompeo did not get a promised meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, which sent a message, the source said. "But, it seems that the USA misunderstood our goodwill and patience".

The last return of USA remains between 1990 and 1995 involved just over 200 caskets.

Trump did not give any sense of when he might give the CD to Kim.

In the meantime, satellite images of a missile-manufacturing facility in the city of Hamhung showed North Korea is expanding its ballistic weapons program.

Trump also announced that the US would suspend "war games" with South Korea.

The result was a joint communique that explained the North meant to denuclearize, but the president's critics have noted the message did not detail exactly how Kim's regime would live up to the apparent bargain and how long denuclearization would take.

As diplomatic engagement increases contact between the two Koreas and reduces hostility across the border, authorities may be anxious ordinary North Koreans might view the South favorably.

"North Korea not showing up could be an expression of dissatisfaction toward the US for making excessive demands in the high-level talks last week", Kyungnam University professor Kim Dong-yub said".

Wimbledon: Roger Federer shocked in 5 sets by Kevin Anderson
Nadal will advance to play in his sixth Wimbledon semifinal, and his first since losing in the finals in 2011. Six times Anderson was required to hold serve to stay alive and each time he was equal to the task.

The Department of Defense estimates that North Korea is holding about 200 sets of remains from some 5,300 American military personnel believed missing in the country.

Organisers have also sought to invite several North Korean moviemakers but are waiting for official approval.

North Korea's latest snub follows Kim Jong Un electing to go to a potato farm rather than meet with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and North Korean media bashing the US's stance on denuclearization as "gangster-like."

The White House had earlier said Mr Pompeo would meet with Mr Kim, but he did not turn up and he only met with Kim Yong Chol, the North Korean leader's powerful right-hand man. "No one not at the table can be sure of what happened-and sometimes even those who were there do not absorb it right away-but it looks as if the two sides have made progress narrowing the gap on how the negotiations would proceed, how to measure progress, and how progress on one front can support progress on the others".

Trump called Kim "Little Rocket Man" or "Rocket Man" in several tweets in 2017 and early 2018 and has said that North Korea's continued threats against the US would be "met with fire and fury like the world has never seen".

The top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee has asked the head of US intelligence to assess whether North Korea's posture and actions regarding denuclearization match up with the Trump administration's claims.

"We made sure we only brought in really mature experienced people", he said, adding each day was "going to be negotiated".
