Antonio Conte: Chelsea sack Italian after two years in charge

Out the door: Antonio Conte holds the trophy after Chelsea won the FA Cup final against Manchester United in May.

"Chelsea Football Club and Antonio Conte have parted company", a brief statement read.

"We wish Antonio every success in his future career".

He's heading to Chelsea along with his former manager at Napoli, Maurizio Sarri.

Conte still had a year left on a revised deal he signed last summer after delivering the fifth Premier League title since Roman Abramovich bought Chelsea in 2003.

Current Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas also expressed his gratitude to Conte, whose FA Cup win in May does not appear to have been sufficient to keep him in the hotseat.

It is the co-producer of the upcoming film " Crazy Rich Asians ", based on the novel by Kevin Kwan and directed by Chu. Yesterday's operation, which took the tally of those rescued to eight, was two hours faster than Sunday's efforts.

Conte - who had a year to run on his contract - is seen to have contributed to his own demise by falling out both with the players and the board as the sheen of the title victory quickly disappeared.

Terry, who won the title with Conte in 2016/2017 campaign, took to Instagram to pay tribute to his old boss.

Sarri, 59, led Napoli to two second-place and one third-place finish in three seasons in charge.

The former Juventus manager has been teetering on the brink at Stamford Bridge over the past few months but the Blues hadn't made an announcement about his future at the west London club.

Chelsea released a short statement which was less than 60 words, which failed to thank the manager for his contributions and which has been slammed as classless by many fans. Gianfranco Zola will return to Chelsea on Sarri's staff.
