Hazard: Real Madrid reportedly readying 170m-euro offer

Real Madrid are preparing a £150million bid to take Eden Hazard from Chelsea this summer.

Last season, Hazard said that he meant to wait to see who the Blues will bring in before deciding whether to sign a long-term contract extension.

Given their reputation with transfers and their need for a new superstar after Cristiano Ronaldo's departure, this only seems logical.

Hazard has been linked with a move to Madrid since the end of last season and the report also claims that Tottenham striker Harry Kane is wanted by the Galacticos.

Yet, now that protesters are planning to fly a great big diapered Baby Trump blimp, he doesn't feel welcome anymore. The president is expected to avoid areas where major demonstrations are planned in protest at his visit.

Corriere dello Sport claim Chelsea are battling with Paris St-Germain to sign the Italy global, who has been linked with a move to the Bridge during successive transfer windows.

The La Liga champions have also been linked with a move for PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot over the last 24 hours as they look top build a squad capable of challenging both domestically and in the Champions League. Recently, Hazard admitted that Madrid would be any footballer's dream, regardless of the fact that Zidane is no longer the manager.

However, given his calibre, Hazard may well be eager to make a move to a UEFA Champions League club that is likely to win major silverware.

Eden Hazard really is a blessed footballer! It's only a question of time before Madrid sign Ronaldo's replacement. "I'm going to do something to see them more".
