The Duchess of Sussex looked stunning in a demure, belted black dress from Dior with her favored boatneck neckline and a wild, Stephen Jones fascinator that she makes look chic. The royals were greeted at the abbey doors by the Dean and Chapter of Westminster, before taking their seats.

The ceremony was attended by royals including William's brother Prince Harry and his new wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, Catherine's father Michael Middleton, and her pregnant sister Pippa and her husband James Matthews. The Queen is rarely seen outdoors without a hat, usually in a colour that matches her outfit.

Buckingham Palace told the Press Association in a statement that the two had previously agreed to skip the christening, and their absence wasn't related to health problems.

Kate also stepped out in her go-to designer on Monday for Prince Louis's Christening.
