Chelsea sack Conte as manager: ReportsNaija247news

Conte was manager at Chelsea for just two seasons, leading them to the Premier League title in his first year before his relationship with the club started to go downhill despite an FA Cup win in May.

Thibaut Courtois is expected to depart having entered the final year of his contract, forcing Chelsea to consider a move for Roma's Brazil goalkeeper Alisson.

The midfielder caused a stir when he appeared to like a post celebrating Conte's exit earlier in the day, but quickly apologized insisting it was accidental, before then deleting the tweet.

Fabregas' message suggests the players have been told Conte is no longer in charge, despite taking training on Thursday.

They did end the 2017/18 campaign on a high by winning the FA Cup but there was intense speculation over Conte's future throughout the campaign.

He had done little to hide his dissent over Chelsea's transfer business in the summer of 2017 and winter of 2017-18, making thinly-veiled criticisms of "the club".

The Blues finished fifth in the Premier League, failing to qualify for the Champions League.

It was unclear whether the indictment might factor into Trump's meeting with Putin on Monday. John McCain also offered stern guidance to the president amid the announced indictments.

Chelsea are likely to pay around £50m, with further fees due in bonuses, to secure the Italy midfielder Jorginho and Sarri.

If the reports prove to be true, Chelsea would be looking for a 13th permanent boss of Roman Abramovich's ownership, which began in June 2003. The club is set for a pre-season tour of Australia which will begin on July 23 in Perth.

Manchester City still believe that Jorginho could move to the Etihad, despite Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis confirming that a deal has been reached with Chelsea.

The Italy worldwide was spotted borading a plane to London this morning ahead of a move.

But Willian might not be the only current Chelsea player that will be glad to see the back of Conte.

'If Chelsea are paying him even more, I can understand that too.
