Meghan and Kate make it a duchess doubles at Wimbledon

On Saturday, Kate and Meghan showed the world just how close they have become as they made their first joint appearance together without their husbands.

The sisters-in-law were seen waving and smiling at tennis fans as they descended on the All England Club ahead of the Ladies' Final.

Champion Djokovic came out on top after the contest which lasted for a staggering five hours.

The American was the first mother to reach the final since Australian Evonne Goolagong triumphed 38 years ago.

"It was such an incredible tournament for me". "I'm obviously disappointed but I can't be - because I'm literally just getting started".

With Duchess Meghan of Sussex and Duchess Kate of Cambridge in the Royal Box for Saturday's women's final at Wimbledon, it was already a star-studded affair on Centre Court.

At the tennis, Meghan wore a chic blue striped shirt and highwaisted cream trousers by Ralph Lauren. The camera panned to Kate and Meghan in the stands, both looking touched as the former actress held back tears.

Trump meeting Queen rankles with many Britons
Still, the sight of the Queen sitting looking at her watch when Trump was late was, in fairness, quite amusing . Others on social media called out the President and his wife for not appropriately greeting the monarch.

The duchess has cheered on players from the royal box most years since marrying Prince William.

She and husband Prince Harry, 33, visited Ireland this week for their first tour as a married couple.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge are enjoying some time together on their own! She was playing in the fourth tournament of her comeback.

Thomas Markle, who shares a visibly strenuous relationship with not only his daughter but also with the royal family - especially after the events that transpired during the run-in to the royal wedding - says that Meghan appears "terrified" with the expectations she is now carrying as the Duchess of Sussex.

Williams is gearing up to clinch her 24th grand slam and probably the sweetest victory of all following the birth of her 10-month-old baby girl Alexis Ohanian. Kerber defeated Williams 6-3, 6-3, to win the tournament.

Markle also called out the lack of Meghan's family and friends that attended the wedding ceremony and said, "I thought it was wrong to have Doria seated by herself".
