LeBron James sits courtside for Lakers' summer league game in Vegas

LeBron has made a host of great on-the-court rejections over the course of his career, but tonight's off-the-court one might have topped them all.

Following him signing his four-year, many Lakers fans are now desperate to see what the four-time MVP victor will look like in a Lakers jersey.

It appears to be the first time they've seen each other since LeBron bolted The Land and signed a new $154 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Los Angeles Lakers may have been unsuccessful in the last five years in the NBA regular season, but man, are the Lakers good when it comes to the NBA Summer League.

Celebration as France lifts the trophy
Above all, there's just something terribly amusing about a striker winning the World Cup without a shot on target. This will be the first World Cup held entirely in Asia since the 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan.

This is because National Basketball Association 2K has released a photo which reveals James' rating on the upcoming version of their video, National Basketball Association 2K19, as well as the man himself in a Lakers jersey.

The Lakers now have a very young but talented supporting cast around James, including the No. 2 overall draft picks in 2017 (Ball) and 2016 (Brandon Ingram), as well as Kuzma and Hart.

We'll have to get used to seeing James wearing purple and gold.

During the Cleveland Cavaliers' semifinal game against the LA Lakers in Las Vegas on Monday, the Cavs rookie put on an impassioned display on the final defensive possession of regulation. The addition of LeBron, however, is a step in the right direction to change that.
