Prince Louis' Official Christening Photos Released By Kensington Palace

Kensington Palace recently shared new photos of Louis from his christening on July 9, but there's one photo in particular that stands out.

Kensington Palace has released one more official photograph from the christening of Prince Louis, the third child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Following the service, the royal family posed for official portraits taken by photographer Matt Holyoak in the Morning Room at Clarence House.

The four images were taken by celebrity photographer Matt Holyoak following the baptism in The Chapel Royal at St James's Palace.

The garment is a handmade replica of the 1841 Royal Christening robe, worn by over 62 royal babies at their christenings - until the Queen commissioned a replica in 2008 to preserve the original.

The absolutely heart-warming and adorable picture shows a wide-eyed Prince Louis smiling with joy while being held by his mother, Kate.

The group had planned to explore the Tham Luang cave complex for about an hour after football practice on June 23. The boys are due to return to their homes later Wednesday. "At least we were trying to do something", he said.

Mr Porteous, of Studio M at Colomberie, said: 'It was an honour and a privilege to photograph the christening of Prince Louis'.

The first pictures of Prince Louis' christening were released on Sunday, 15 July. The Cambridges often mark the day in private, choosing to spend time with the royal family and Kate's side, the Middletons, including doting grandparents Carole and Michael, who own a party planning business.

Sadly, Prince Louis' great-grandparents Queen Elizabeth, 92, and Prince Philip, 96, did not attend.

Louis is fifth in the line of succession to the British throne after his grandfather Prince Charles, his father William, George and Charlotte.

The royal couple also named six close friends and family members to be godparents to Prince Louis, who was born in April.

The youngster's full name is George Alexander Louis, but his full title is His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge, though he is often referred to as Prince George of Cambridge.
