Prince George's fifth birthday sees new official photo released

A picture of a smiling Prince George was released by Britain's royal family on Saturday as Queen Elizabeth's great-grandson, who is third in line to the throne, prepares to celebrate his fifth birthday.

In this photo taken on Monday, July 9, 2018, Britain's Prince George poses for a picture following the christening of his brother Prince Louis, at Clarence House in London. She was experiencing severe morning sickness as she was pregnant with Prince Louis.

Writing for "William & Catherine: A Family Portrait", Gill Knappett said: "Like his father did, Prince George is enjoying as normal an upbringing as possible, with two parents determined to let him have as much privacy has possible".

Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge was born at the private maternity unit of St Mary's Hospital, Paddington on July 22, 2013. The royal tot will celebrate his fifth birthday tomorrow, and in honor of the big day, Kensington Palace commissioned photographer Matt Porteous to take a portrait of the Prince-and just to warn you, it's the cutest thing you will see all day.
