Stunning Paul Pogba to Barcelona claim made about Mino Raiola

Stunning Paul Pogba to Barcelona claim made about Mino Raiola

Sky Italy have said that United have turned down £45m plus Everton linked defender Yerry Mina and Portuguese midfielder Andre Gomes.

The France World Cup victor has been linked with a move to the Nou Camp amid speculation over his future at Old Trafford.

Pogba would consider either a move to Barcelona or a return to Juventus if given the option, the sources added, as the midfielder is unhappy with some of his manager's comments made during the club's tour of the United States.

Raiola is known to have approached United about a raise for Pogba after Sanchez moved to Old Trafford from Arsenal in January.

Mourinho has taken plenty of heat for not putting Pogba in a position to succeed at Manchester United, and some have even theorized that if things don't change, Woodward will be tasked with picking one or the other.

But Manchester United are confident they will be keeping Pogba as Mourinho looks for his side to close the gap on Premier League champions Manchester City.

Pogba was regularly criticised for his failure to produce consistent performances for Manchester United last season as the Red Devils finished in second place in the Premier League table.

Thoughts on Barcelona's cash plus players offer for Paul Pogba?

"There are a lot of names that always get circulated around in the rumour mill - all of them are good players and we respect them themselves but we also respect the clubs they are now at".

The United manager claimed that the summer tournament - which Pogba's France won in Russian Federation - is the "perfect" environment for him because he "can only think about football" as opposed to other outside influences.

"Why? Because it's closed for a month, where he can only think about football". "It's about him giving the best he has to give".
