‘Fahrenheit 11/9’ Trailer: Michael Moore Doc Targets Mid-Term Elections

Check out the Fahrenheit 11/9 trailer below, and check out the movie when it hits theaters on September 21! To make the Trump documentary, Moore has reunited with his acclaimed team from Fahrenheit ‪9/11 - Oscar-nominated documentary directors/producers Meghan O'Hara, Tia Lessin and Carl Deal.

The Huffington Post published the trailer.

In an interview with HuffPost, Moore describes Trump as an "evil genius" and speaks to the potential power of his new film. He hopes this film will "end the madness" that people seem content to let continue.

Given how so much of Donald Trump's presidency is being played out on screens and online, it seems nearly pointless at this stage to have a documentary on him when the story hasn't even finished playing itself out yet. The scene in which an incensed Moore sprays water from Flint onto the home of MI governor Rick Snyder stands out in particular, made all the more meaningful as Moore himself is a Flint native.

The "Fahrenheit 11/9" footage also shows Moore speaking to David Hogg, the activist student who survived the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting on February 14, 2018, and progressive Democratic Congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who won a stunning victory in the primary earlier this summer.

'Superman' star Margot Kidder died from 'self-inflicted drug and alcohol overdose'
Kidder, and co-star, the late Christopher Reeve, who played Superman , were unknown when they both landed parts in the franchise. If you or someone you know needs help call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or the Suicide Call Back Service on 1300 659 467 .

Filming on Moore's new Trump documentary has been done under a strict cloak of secrecy.

"Fahrenheit 11/9" will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival next month, the festival announced Thursday.

He emphasizes that having "hope" alone is passive, saying our nation should not rely on this to solve our problems. "Our media has no idea what it is up against", he continued. He began shooting the film previous year with the "11/9" in the title referring to the day Trump was declared President of the United States on November 9, 2016. This puts us all in grave danger.

"Fahrenheit 11/9"'s release comes just ahead of the USA mid-term elections, with Moore looking to spread anti-Trump messaging and insight into his politics.
