AC Milan wants Chelsea star Tiemoue Bakayoko on loan

The Brazil winger, 29, has been at Stamford Bridge for five years but was linked with a move away this summer.

He featured in all four of their pre-season friendlies but was absent from the squad for their Community Shield defeat to Manchester City a week ago.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is also a keen admirer with the Red Devils reportedly preparing a fresh approach this week.

The Belgian global has developed in to one of the best keepers in the world since joining Chelsea from Genk in 2011 but he wants to return to the Spanish capital to be closer to his family. "I've never talked about leaving the club".

"Why not?" he exclusively told Starsport when asked if Chelsea could win the title.

"The only club I knew that really made an official offer for me was Barcelona".

Defensive end Michael Bennett walked out of the tunnel during the anthem and walked toward the bench while it played. Further protests took place in Jacksonville, where four players for the Jaguars also stayed in the dressing room.

Speaking ahead of the clash at Wembley Stadium, the Brazil global put speculation regarding a move away firmly to rest: "I've always told him I'm really happy playing for Chelsea. But my head is here in the club". "His hard-tackling style is unlikely to suit Maurizio Sarri's style of play, but would be ideal for Diavolo Coach Gennaro Gattuso".

A breakthrough was reached during talks with Madrid as news broke over the past 24 hours claiming that the Croatian worldwide was due to fly-in to London to undergo his medical ahead of a move to Chelsea.

Sarri will at least be hoping to at least keep hold of the players that he already has at his disposal.

Kovacic could be part of a deal which will see Thibaut Courtois moving to Real after going AWOL and missing two consecutive training sessions.
