Omarosa Fiasco Spotlights Unusual Trump Tactic To Silence White House Aides

Manigault claimed on page 149 of her new book Unhinged, according to Fox News, that Trump 2016 campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson had heard from someone who knew political strategist Frank Luntz that Luntz had heard a tape of Donald Trump using the n-word.

Trump's three-time "Apprentice" castmate has been releasing secret White House recordings as she promotes her new tell-all book, and the president has been attacking Manigault's intelligence and credentials.

In a book being released Tuesday, Manigault Newman said she had heard of the tape's existence.

"I think it's important to understand that if we can make this a friendly departure we can all be, you know, you can look at your time here in the White House as a year of service to the nation, and then you can go on without any type of difficulty in the future relative to your reputation", Kelly said on the tape.

In a morning tweet, Trump praised his chief of staff, John F. Kelly, for previous year having fired Manigault Newman, the former reality television star who was the highest-ranking black employee in the White House.

As NBC's Savannah Guthrie prodded in some very good back-and-forth with Manigault Newman: "Is [Trump] lying?"

She added that the remarks were made in reference to Kwame Jackson, an African American contestant on the show. It paints a damning picture of Trump, including her claim that he used racial slurs on the set of his reality show "The Apprentice". "I don't love you leaving at all". The president tweeted Monday night, "I don't have that word in my vocabulary and never have". Manigault then writes, "Lynne [Patton] reported that she asked Trump about it on the plane, specifically whether it was possible that such a tape might exist, and he said 'no.' Then she asked him what he wanted her to do and he said, 'Put it to bed'".

Expectations can only be managed so far - it might be time to deliver. "We have started the season great and everybody is happy". Van Dijk joined the Reds from Southampton for £75m in January and quickly became a vital player in the heart of their defence.

In another skirmish, Trump tweeted Monday that Manigault-Newman signed a non-disclosure agreement upon her exit from the White House.

She held the role as director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison in the Trump administration from January to December 2017. "You know they run a big operation, but I didn't know it", Trump is heard saying on the tape. "This is somebody I've known since 2003", Manigault Newman said. "You can't hire people to work in the most powerful office in the world, paid by taxpayers and then when they turn on you say, 'That person's a insane liar and no one should trust them'".

NBC's "Today" programme on Sunday played the brief recording, in which Mr. Trump claims to have had no knowledge that she was sacked and expresses regret at the news.

But if the media is saying Newman is a "liar and a back-stabber with no credibility", Colbert noted she's "exactly like everyone else in the Trump administration".

Manigault Newman also weighed in on that controversial jacket that Melania Trump wore when visiting the child detention center right in the midst of the blowback the President received for his inhumane policy of separating immigrant children from their parents.

She used her TV appearances to hype up her story of working for Trump, fishing for the best publishing deal, the source said.
