Sony Builds Spider-Man Hype With a Final Crime-Fighting Montage

Clocking in at just over a minute long, the gameplay launch trailer for Marvel's Spider-Man doesn't actually disclose anything new.

Insomniac's Spider-Man is scheduled to release worldwide for PS4 on Sep. 7.

More interesting as well, perhaps, is that the trailer ends with a brand new shot of Morales admiring Spidey from afar. You can get a look at the detailed NYC landscape by pressing play above. I recently went hands-on with the first two hours of Marvel's Spider-Man ahead of it's September release, and from that alone I can confidently state that the hype is certainly not for nothing. Side note: Some argue that the footage of Spider-Man donning the mask in E3 2017's trailer was actually Miles, but we'll have to wait and see.

UNICEF, meanwhile, branded the attack "deplorable" and called for parties on all sides of the conflict to protect children. He did not say if all the victims were students and whether any of their teachers were also among the casualties.

Peter Parker may be all about MJ, but Spider-Man's a superhero married to the city of NY. This is an all-new Spider-Man universe, featuring familiar characters in unfamiliar roles.

Feige also stated that Spider-Man's globetrotting isn't the only reason the title was chosen.

What's even more exciting are the Spidey suits. Judging by the dialogue, Morales got saved after attempting to fight a villain of his own accord, at the same time providing a hint of his future role in the game. There could very well be other baddies in the game but those are all the evil doers that Insomniac Games has chosen to reveal. Feel the full power of a more experienced Spider-Man with improvisational combat, dynamic acrobatics, fluid urban traversal, and environmental interactions.
