Elon Musk Smoking Weed with Joe Rogan

Mr Musk has said the company is producing more than 5,000 Model 3 electric cars per week, and that cash generated from the sales will bring sustained quarterly profits. He launched a line of flamethrowers, he shot a Tesla auto into space, and he began dating musician Grimes. The city "is a awful place to dig tunnels", he added.

But 2018 has been a odd, hard year for Musk.

Amid talk of weed and fanciful sci-fi inventions, Musk did touch on more serious issues, namely sustainable energy.

The forty-seven year old billionaire spent two and a half hours on a podcast late Thursday discussing everything from artificial intelligence and its impact on humankind to flame throwers and social media. There is growing concern about the inner workings of Tesla and many are beginning to question why proven executives are leaving.

He then went on a rant against the media. "Thinking of calling it Pravda", he added, using the name of the former Soviet Union's propaganda machine. In the first quarter of this year, the company lost Morton's predecessor, Eric Branderiz, and Susan Repo, who was treasurer and vice president of finance.

Elon Musk has no doubt proven himself to be a visionary and a CEO unlike any the world has ever seen.

Musk stated that technology will be 'indistinguishable from reality, ' and, when prompted by Rogan on whether or not he entertained the idea of a 'simulation, ' appeared to confirm his sentiments.

"Maybe it will be successful, maybe it won't", Musk said.

Unfortunately for Musk, this week's high was followed by a downer. He provided no evidence to support his claim.

Foles did lead Philly on a long drive to start the second quarter capped by Jake Elliott's 26-yard field goal to make it 3-3. Tight end Dallas Goedert's inability to hang on to the ball that resulted in a Deion Jones interception with 10:35 to play.

The diver is suing. "I want to be clear that I believe strongly in Tesla, its mission, and its future prospects, and I have no disagreements with Tesla's leadership or its financial reporting", Morton said, as detailed in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

Elon Musk speaks at a SpaceX event in 2014, when he was still likely to be described as a genius.

"A lot of people don't like humanity and think it is a blight, but I don't", Musk said.

But some of Musk's recent behaviour has teetered closer to his core businesses. Last month, Tesla's founder tweeted about plans to take the company private.

A level of chaos seized investors and analysts. But the abrupt U-turn on the shocking proposal sparked federal investigations, shareholder lawsuits and whistleblower complaints. At Tesla's current cash burn rate, Canaccord Genuity said in a report August 8, the company has only enough cash to sustain itself for "another six to nine months ".

It was not the message every investor wanted to hear.

Tesla sank more than 7% in early trading Friday, to $260 per share, after the electric-car maker revealed that its chief accountant, Dave Morton, resigned on September 4.

Tesla shares fell 6.3 per cent to US$263.24, the lowest close in five months.
