Final Fantasy 7 and More Coming to Nintendo Switch

Will Tuttle, Xbox Wire Editor in Chief, dropped the news on the Xbox Wire website and has announced that a collection of Final Fantasy titles will be coming to the Xbox One over the coming few months.

As for the rest of the event, Nintendo covered plenty more ground, most of which touched on previous announcements.

Releasing on the Switch are World of Final Fantasy Maxima, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy X/X2 Remastered, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition HD, and Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon. Years have gone by, wounds have healed, and old relationships have since been renewed, but for the longest time, PlayStation-era Final Fantasy games were not available on Nintendo consoles.

The second game is World of Final Fantasy Maxima.

Pope Summons Bishops For Sexual Abuse Summit
Since the release, an archbishop claimed Pope Francis had helped hide an American cardinal's alleged abuse. The witness said a priest told him Bransfield was having sex with the one in the front seat.

Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY!, a "return" to the 2007 game Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon, will debut for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 this winter.

This week's delayed Nintendo Direct has proven to be full of surprises, with a host of Final Fantasy games scheduled to arrive on the Switch this year and next.

That was far from the only Final Fantasy related annoucement though, even accepting that news of Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition HD had already leaked out. Expect them sometime in 2019.

Final Fantasy 7 is out now for PC, PS1, PS4, iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch.
