Melissa Thompson's video shows Harvey Weinstein chatting her up before 'rape'

Melissa Thompson's video shows Harvey Weinstein chatting her up before 'rape'

The two people can only be seen from the waist up so this alleged action cannot be seen.

Thompson alleges that after agreeing to use the technology, Weinstein put his hand up her dress. Later footage shows Thompson re-adjusting the angle of her laptop so that she and Weinstein would remain on camera even as he beckoned her to a different part of the room. "It's okay. Would you like to do it some more?"

"A little bit, mm-hmm", an uncomfortable-looking Thompson responded.

The D.A. isn't say more at this time but Weinstein's lawyer wasn't buying it. "His eyes became dark", she recalled to Sky.

The meeting gets off to an terrible start as Weinstein brushes away a handshake and embraces Thompson in a hug, making long strokes down her back and saying "That's nice'".

"I knew I was losing the ability to control the situation and keep it professional", she said.

She also said the filmmaker's behavior was distracting and she struggled to pitch the technology to him.

A video of defamed Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein having a hands-on encounter with a woman who later accused him of rape surfaced online Wednesday.

So, think of it as one of the dream-like openings to each game, but without Utada Hikaru crooning in your ear the entire time. Alongside this news came a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3 , adding to its already sizable collection of other trailers.

Thompson told Sky News: "Now I see he's trying, in any way he can, to move me into that zone of comfortable then uncomfortable and confused, and vulnerable, and recognizing that he's powerful and I'm not, and that I need this deal from him, and he has the power to give it to me".

The video hasn't been posted on YouTube yet but you can view it here at Sky News.

Once in the room, he raped her.

Shortly after doing so, he rejected her handshake offer and hugged Thompson instead, rubbing her back and saying: "That's nice". "It was an invitation to come to a hotel lobby that was within blocks of the office and so that to me felt much safer than being alone with him in his office", she said. I worked in Wall Street before I went to business school, and I worked in an environment that was heavily male dominated...

But Ben Brafman, a lawyer representing Weinstein, said in a statement obtained by The Associated Press that the video "demonstrates that there is nothing forceful" and shows "casual, if not awkward, flirting from both parties".

"Anything short of that is meant to make Mr. Weinstein appear inappropriate, and even exploitative", said Benjamin Brafman. "It was produced by Ms. Thompson to bolster her position in a civil lawsuit seeking money".

Claiming that the video tried to malign Weinstein for financial gain, Barfman said facts mattered.

At the end of the video, Weinstein and Thompson arrange to meet a few hours later at the Tribeca Grand in NY. "But I hate feeling like a booty call", according to the defense. Thompson says she was expecting to meet with the Weinstein Company's marketing team, but instead found herself in a room with just Weinstein himself. They added that secret grand jury minutes provided to the judge showed they presented evidence "fairly and in a manner that was not misleading".
