Alli, Lloris To Miss Tottenham Vs Liverpool

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has been fined £50 000 and banned from driving for 20 months after pleading guilty to one count of drink-driving at Westminster Magistrates' Court.

Pochettino said that "of course" Lloris would remain captain, explaining: "He's the first that regrets everything". He doesn't feel great. He made a mistake and he's suffered the punishment. 'He is punishing himself.

'Of course we have a conversation and he explained what happened. Of course all the people can make a mistake.

"It's a massive lesson for everyone".

Speaking to the pre-match press conference, he said, "Alli has just had a minor strain and should be fine for his club at the weekend I would think, but Tuesday's game will come too quickly". "I made a mistake and now I need to pay".

Lloris picked up his injury against Manchester United and Pochettino revealed he will be out for several weeks.

"Disappointed, because we're going to miss him for this game, and possibly Inter Milan in the Champions League, but it is not a big issue".

'I am learning a lot!' Pochettino joked.

Klopp bemused by Neville's Champions League advice
The Reds have won four from four so far this season, but have yet to come up against a team that has seriously challenged them. Dele Alli is out for Spurs with a hamstring injury while Hugo Lloris is sidelined with a thigh problem.

The Spurs boss said yesterday the France World Cup victor will remain as club captain despite his conviction this week and even though Lloris admitted he would understand if it was taken from him.

"Hopefully, it will be OK and he will be available again soon, like Dele".

Tottenham Hotspurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has ruled out four players of Dele Alli.

The club also felt he played while carrying an injury at times during the World Cup this summer.

"The most thing here is the confidence and trust we have in him".

"We are in a situation that is under control".

"He's a little but unlucky", Pochettino told Sky Sports News.
