"I think they should loan him (Ampadu) to us and I could help him as well".

Sarri has enjoyed a superb start to his Chelsea reign with the London club winning all four of their league games to sit joint top of the table with Liverpool and Watford.

Maurizio Sarri has said he has been warning his Chelsea players all week about the danger of dropping points after global breaks as they prepare to resume their Premier League campaign at home to Cardiff City on Saturday. This is John Terry's home.

Sarri revealed he has been preparing for the intense set of fixtures over the past few weeks to ensure his side are well prepared to take maximum points, he added: "We have to play seven matches in 23 days, so I had to work. He told me a lot of things, that he wants to play, so I'd have to speak to him again".

Chelsea will be aiming to maintain their impressive 100% start to the Premier League season when they welcome Neil Warnock's newly promoted Cardiff to Stamford Bridge tomorrow afternoon. Cesc Fabregas is returning to full fitness but won't be ready to play this weekend. It'll be interesting to see how we cope at a packed Stamford Bridge. "Maybe it's better for him to have two days of training", Sarri said.

"This was only because after the first season the players understood the difficulty of this kind of match".

Ahead of Chelsea's clash with Cardiff City on Saturday, manager Sarri said: 'My feeling is that we are not a very solid team in the defensive phase. "For me, my life is on the pitch with the players". For everybody here, I think.
