The online library launched with 20 NES games and Nintendo promises that more will be added on a regular basis. Latest update 6.0 is out now for Nintendo Switch devices and after you update, you will be required to buy a new membership before playing most of the games online. Whether you enjoy gaming with your friends, or have multiple systems in your home (one for you, one for your kids), it's nice to have easy access to your digital library via your Nintendo Switch account. Nintendo's biggest competitors, Microsoft and Sony, offer deeper discounts during digital game sales, so it's likely Nintendo will follow suit here.
