Manchester United back José Mourinho and have no plans to remove manager

Manchester United may have dismissed reports of his imminent departure, but history looks to be repeating itself for Jose Mourinho, says Ben McAleer.

Conte's Chelsea dominated upon his arrival setting a then Premier League record for 30 wins out of a 38 game season, as they romped to the league title.

United have lost three of their seven Premier League games so far this season and Mourinho has responded to those defeats by heavily rotating at centre-back. The US entrepreneurs are in constant contact with club executive, Ed Woodward and are happy with continuing with Mourinho for now.

It remains to be seen whether the victory - United's first at Old Trafford since the opening weekend of the campaign - will be enough to save Mourinho from the sack.

Given the widespread claims of players falling out with the manager at Old Trafford, this was a result that owed everything to Mourinho's decisions.

"It has to be coming from the top".

" I can deal with getting hunted".

In 2018, Ryu was 3-1 with a 1.36 ERA on four days' rest, and 3-2 with a 2.67 ERA on five days' rest. Atlanta's pitching staff was carried by Mike Foltynewicz , whose 2.88 ERA and 12 wins led the team.

"I think [Neville] is right", said Carragher, speaking on Soccer AM. The Frenchman has been without a club since surprisingly resigning as Real Madrid manager just days after they beat Liverpool in the Champions League Final.

The Special One succeeded Louis van Gaal as manager in 2016 and had a fruitful start to his career as United boss, winning the Community Shield, EFL Cup and Europa League in his first season. The team will do much better than what it is doing. "I couldn't argue with what he said".

"And if you want something more, in pre-season I also said that this season was going to be very hard".

The Portuguese's pre-game press conference was held at 08:00 local time on Friday, in a departure from its usual early afternoon slot, yet Mourinho was not in a more talkative mood.

That was time enough for him to reject suggestions his squad were struggling for confidence. We think the fans deserve better. "I have no doubts about that".

"I think a lot of wickedness and a clear man-hunting which I think in football is too much". That's the reason why it was a phenomenal season.
