Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho: 'Speculation won't end with win'

Paul Pogba in particular was excellent in the second half as he produced a lovely assist for the Anthony Martial equaliser before the much maligned Alexis Sanchez popped up with the victor in the last few minutes. "That's what we did", said Fellaini, speaking to BT Sport. I can cope with it.

He told talkSPORT: "The ones that read the papers, that are connected with social media, they thought maybe I had gone [been sacked]".

"Pogba started at centre-half, him and Matic in the second half, and he had the most touches, most shots, the most passes, most sprints in the game, but the thing with him was that he needed to show up in this game", said Wright. "Jose Mourinho is one of the best managers in the world and I think at this moment in time any manager in the world would struggle at that football club with the way that the recruitment is handled, the way in which it is operated".

"It is not easy for them [the players]".

Manchester United came from two goals down to win 3-2 tonight.

There were even rumours coming into the game that Mourinho would be sacked regardless of the result at Old Trafford and even an official club response didn't quell the speculation.

Earlier, Mourinho responded to the criticism coming his way by claiming United overachieved in finishing second last season, 19 points behind champions Manchester City, adding he always expected this campaign to be more hard. I'm not turning on my football club, but I have to say, something has to change; and it isn't the manager. I love that football club. I still love it, but it is different. "If you want to know, you will know".

Compelling evidence have been found on the existence of the moon , orbiting a gas-giant planet, 8,000 light-years away from Earth. They're hoping to complete a second Hubble observation next year to either prove or disprove Kepler-1625b-i's existence.

"There is too much talking".

"I'm furious since three or four years ago when David Moyes was sacked and it was broken a day before to journalists".

'After the second half against Newcastle people might think differently.

"I think they have all got to share the blame", Shearer said on Match of the Day.

The manager also played down the idea that the players responded to win the game for him.

Fans at Old Trafford have generally stood by the manager, and they chanted his name loudly as the comeback took place, so it's very likely the words were directed at the press.

Mourinho has kept faith with Pogba despite the fact that the pair have publicly feuded repeatedly over the last few weeks as the manager has come increasingly under pressure.
