'Batwoman' Begins: First Look at Ruby Rose as the CW Superhero

Now we have our first look at Kate Kane's costumed alter ego.

Ruby Rose makes the ideal Batwoman.

Rose is set to make her first appearance as Kane in upcoming Arrow-verse crossover event "Elseworlds", which will begin later in the current Season 7 of Arrow on 9 December, and continue through The Flash and Supergirl.

The annual Arrowverse crossover event begins filming October 29 and will kick off on the CW Sunday, Dec. 9 at 8 PM ET. The character will make her debut during December's crossover event between "Arrow", "The Flash" and "Supergirl", which begins filming on Tuesday in Vancouver. Critics hailed the casting as "perfect", and Rose described the role as a "childhood dream".
