Apple Watches down under struggle with switch to daylight saving time

The Apple Watch couldn't handle daylight saving time and would crash over and over again. We had daylight saving this morning at 2am where the clock was brought forward for an hour.

Reports about the Apple Watch Series 4 crashing and restarting due to DST are not a very big issue, and the issue should correct by itself tomorrow. However, out of 24 hours, the particular watch face is reportedly not registering an hour or so worth of activities. So far, the bug appears to be limited to the large activity complication. Going all the way back to iOS 4 in late 2010, iPhone users had problems waking up their devices due to the time change. Having just experienced the time change for Fall, many upset Australians were anxious that their watches were defective given constant crashing and reboot issues.

Even if Apple is too slow to roll out an update, users can still change their watch face ahead of time just to be on the safe side. Apple has not released a statement concerning the problem yet, but they will most likely come up with a fix quite soon.

Cupertino based conglomerate Apple has officially launched its new Nike+ Apple Watch Series 4 models. The Nike+ watches are great for athletes as they give you heartbeat ratings so you can know how many calories you have burnt. The watch will be available in 40mm and 44mm dial sizes. The Nike+ Series 4 is available for purchase in several countries, including the U.S., the U.K., Canada, Australia and some European and Asian markets. A bug with the complications on the new Infograph faces in Apple Watch Series 4 is causing some very unhappy experience today.

One Australian who lives on the edge of different time zones said he experienced a different problem, in which the Apple Watch displays different times depending on the location of the cell tower.
