Black Ops 4 Has A Massive Day One Update

Unfortunately, this means that the day one patch is enormous. Shared earlier today, the post outlines the expected installation size on both systems, as well as the required space needed to install the game and its day one update.

Well, you probably shouldn't bother, because the disc-based version of Black Ops 4 requires a huge 50GB day one update.

For those buying the game digitally on either Xbox One or PS4, you'll be looking at a total of 55 GB to download. Activision says that "for an optimized download experience", players will need at least 112GB of free space on their hard drives.

China Open: Osaka survives huge scare to reach semis
Wozniacki claimed her first China Open title in 2010 when she jumped to top the WTA rankings for the first time. This was Osaka's second tournament since she defeated Serena Williams in the US Open final on September 8.

A couple of days ago, we informed you about the framerate of the different modes that will be coming with Black Ops 4.

As for the file size, while the back of the cover lists 100 GB as the required hard disk space, the official PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Store have listed the file size as 42 GB to 48 GB respectively. If you find that size a bit too big, there's a little bit of good news though, according to Activision, players can play Blackout in full with just 30 percent installed (about 16-20GB), though you'll need to download and install a day one update completely in order to play Multiplayer, Zombies or Specialist Headquarters. On PlayStation 4, make sure you select "Update to Latest Version" when the prompt appears to be able to access Blackout during the installation. The patch itself will be approximately 50 GB. Patch contents are included in the game's pre-load, for digital owners, but those opting for the physical version can't get around this.
