Liverpool defender Van Dijk 'constantly injected' for rib injury - Koeman

Van Dijk played the entirety of Netherlands' 3-0 home win over Germany on Friday but will miss their friendly with Belgium on Tuesday.

Van Dijk suffered the injury before the Champions League game against Paris Saint-Germain in September and aggravated the problem against Southampton the following weekend, prompting his substitution.

The forward returned to Liverpool in the last few days and was assessed by the medical team and Salah is now set to return to training.

Coyle is a defensive midfielder while Atherton is a goalkeeper who represented the U18 team in 2016 at just 16.

"You don't expect a result like that in advance".

Statewide Republican officials said the damage included smashed windows, a spray-painted door and a keypad lock covered in glue. Proud Boys members dressed in black polo shirts yelled homophobic slurs as they attacked at least three protesters.

"Together we decided that he would only play against Germany".

However, Jurgen Klopp will be sweating over the injury as Mane has been a key player for his side this season and he must now be considered as a doubt for Liverpool's Premier League trip to Huddersfield Town on Saturday evening.

A hamstring issue for Keita could see him out for the foreseeable future, while Van Dijk has reportedly been playing with a couple of broken ribs of late, while Salah had a muscle strain when on Egypt duty with Mane supposedly breaking his thumb whilst playing for Senegal.

Jordan Henderson will also benefit from a rest as he is suspended for England's meeting with Spain having picked up a booking in the Three Lions' UEFA Nations League draw with Croatia.

He has since played through the pain barrier for Liverpool in their games against Chelsea, Napoli and Manchester City.
