New Porsche Panamera GTS models blast in for 2018

The auto also has black GTS badges and 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels.

As is typical with a GTS-trim auto, the standard equipment list is a greatest hits album of the standard Panamera's options list.

Starting under the hood, the GTS has a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 453 hp (338 kW / 460 PS) and 457 lb-ft (620 Nm) of torque - 19 hp (15 kW / 20 PS) and 73 lb-ft (100 Nm) more than its predecessor.

Of course, the performance changes extend beyond the engine compartment as the Panamera GTS comes standard with an adaptive air suspension and a 10mm reduced ride height.

You'll be doing 292km/h flat out in the Panamera GTS, and 289km/h in the Sport Turismo GTS.

Man shot dead by hunter in the French Alps
An enquiry has been launched for "aggravated manslaughter". "The shooter went into deep shock when he realised what he had done". According to the Telegraph , the hunter, who has not been publicly identified, mistook Sutton for an animal.

On the outside, both cars get a Sport Design package which includes a black front end, black trim on the bottom rear bumper and 20-inch alloy wheels. A spry 4.1 seconds to 100 km/h will ensure that all the stuff you have packed in the back rearranges itself. Power is sent to all-wheels by the eight-speed PDK dual clutch gearbox. The interior is swathed in black microsuede (including the heated sport steering wheel) with aluminum accents. The brakes are now 390millimetres at front and 365millimetres at the rear. There's also the option for a heads-up display, a first for the Panamera and one that will soon find its way across the entire lineup.

That theme continues inside with dark grey Alcantara trimmings and upholstery as well as anodised aluminium inlays, but customers looking for something more colourful can opt for an interior package featuring contrasting shades of Carmine Red or Crayon. The display can be configured by the driver and projects all relevant information directly into his line of sight in full colour.

As is tradition at Porsche, GTS stands for Gran Turismo Sport. Porsche's first road-approved sports auto, the 904 Carrera GTS, was launched in 1963, bringing racing tech to the streets.

The Panamera GTS and Sport Turismo GTS are available to order now and are priced at $146,200 and $153,300 respectively. This was followed by the 924 GTS and 928 GTS, which cultivated the concept throughout the 1980s and 90s. The first generation of the Panamera GTS followed in 2011, initially available as a sports saloon only.
