With 95 years of prohibition being lifted in Canada, provinces will be setting their own laws on marijuana sales.

Canada said it intends to pardon everyone with convictions for possessing up to 30 grams of marijuana, the newly legal threshold.

A formal announcement was planned for later Wednesday.

Traders weren't the only ones to take advantage of legalisation.
