Eden Hazard can win Ballon D'Or with Chelsea, insists Sarri

This week, Christensen's father and agent said he would seek a meeting with Chelsea to discuss his son's departure if Sarri did not play him more - but the head coach gave him short shrift.

And, ahead of Saturday's clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, United's manager has echoed those sentiments, insisting that Hazard is the difference when it comes to winning the title.

However, the 27-year-old has been linked with a move to Real Madrid (h/t Express), and he revealed that he would like to play for the Spanish giants some day.

Eden Hazard says he would have "no problem" with staying at Chelsea for the remainder of his career amid speculations about him making a possible move to Real Madrid and he also admitted to his interest in the move.

"He is a fantastic player". It'll be important for us if he will remain.

I don't think I've ever seen Messi have two bad games on the trot, but Hazard went missing for big parts of last season, and the one where Mourinho got sacked (2015-16 campaign).

However, Hazard has also stated he has no intention of following the example of worldwide team-mate Thibaut Courtois in forcing his way out of Chelsea.

"Sometimes in my head, I wake up in the morning and think I want to go".

After an outstanding World Cup, Hazard has fired Chelsea to joint top in the Premier League table. He can win the the Ballon d'Or here, because for example if Chelsea win the Champions League, and the Belgium national team can win the European Championships, he can win everything without playing in Spain.

He said: "I am not interested in the father".

"I think that if he can improve he can be the best in the world".

The Belgian has started the 2018/19 season in tremendous fashion under Maurizio Sarri and is now the leading goalscorer in the Premier League with seven goals in eight appearances.

"I see Hazard as a player after Cristiano Ronaldo and [Lionel] Messi's time".

"When the feelings are good you say nice things, when they are not good you don't say so much nice things".
