UEFA Champions League Group CWhat's the rumour?

Barcelona vice-president Jordi Cardoner says no internal talks have taken place regarding the possibility of trying to re-sign Neymar.

He joined the French outfit in a world-record £200m deal back in 2017 and picked up the Ligue 1 title in his debut campaign, scoring 19 goals in 20 league appearances.

The report claims that the Spanish champions are ready to pay €220 million (£193.2 million) - the same fee that they received a year ago - for a transfer to go through at the end of the campaign.

The report claims that Barcelona ace Lionel Messi was also consulted about the decision to bring the Brazilian back. Luis Suarez and Ivan Rakitic were also some of Neymar's close acquaintances and he still considers Barcelona as "his club".

There were around 500-700 people at the spot. "District authorities have been mobilised on war footing", CM Singh tweeted. Revenue Minister Sukhbinder Sarkaria deputed to immediately reach Amritsar to oversee rescue operations.

According to the Daily Mirror, Neymar has had an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al-Khelaifi which allows the forward to leave the club at the end of the season for €220 million (£193 million).

But the emergence of Kylian Mbappe as a global icon has handed him the same problem at PSG and Neymar has reportedly decided he'd be happier back at Barcelona.

Especially as Mundo report that club president Josep Maria Bartomeu has already talked to key Barcelona players in the dressing room about his return.

Neymar's move to Paris Saint-Germain had many questioning his ambitions as a footballer.
