Injured in Clemson Clubhouse When Floor Collapses

Police say none of the victims were trapped, and no one suffered life-threatening injuries.

And all those people getting close to the edge and filming instead of helping, or you know, leaving the collapsed floor... uh, OK?! 30 people were taken to the hospital with injuries.

People had been jumping up and down to the music at the party, causing the first floor to cave into the basement.

"So everyone was jumping".

Students could be seen plummeting from the first floor into the basement, while others attempted to jump to safety, but majority were unsuccessful.

She added: "It happened so quickly". I stood up, and everyone was trying to climb out. People are hurt. People are bleeding. "It was really bad". "Everyone was on the floor and people were screaming and there was wood sticking up from the floorboards".

A witness said that he heard "a boom".

"I can feel myself falling", attendee Leroy Pearson told local news channel WSPA-TV.

Trump’s Name Is Removed From Another New York Building
Donald Trump name has been stripped from a Manhattan apartment block after residents complained it could affect resale values. Workers will pry the letters off the front and back of 200 Riverside Blvd., a 46-story building between 69th and 70th streets.

"It was insane", Pearson said.

Clemson police received a call around 12:30 a.m. reporting the collapse at the Woodlands of Clemson Apartment, police Chief Jimmy Dixon told FOX Carolina.

"I'm monitoring the situation, and my thoughts and prayers are with all who were injured", Clemson University president Jim Clements said in a statement.

The party may have been filled to or beyond the clubhouse's capacity - a figure that was not immediately reported - or the floor collapsing may have just been because of a structural issue with at the condominium complex, which was built in 2005.

Franzie Pendergrass, who was also on the floor at the time, said "it was scary, it was crazy".

"I can tell you there was a party". Police told the outlet that none of the injuries were life threatening.

Police said an investigation into the incident was ongoing.
