'Game of Thrones' Final Season Premiere Date Revealed

While the Game of Thrones final season release date teaser is accompanied by the new hashtag #ForTheThrone, the teaser itself does not contain any new footage from the upcoming eighth season.

HBO revealed today that Game of Thrones will start its final season in April 2019 - exactly eight years after the series premiered in April 2011, and went on to conquer the world.

The Night King will march on Westeros in April.
