Marvel co-creator Stan Lee has died

Granted, it technically isn't the first time that the industry titan appeared in a Marvel movie, with him playing a jury foreman in the TV movie The Trial of the Incredible Hulk. He co-created iconic fictional characters such as Spider-Man, X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, and many more. Amid the continued outpouring of tributes on the Internet, however, folks also wondered whether any more cameos would be available for them to enjoy, and that answer would be yes, within the still-untitled Avengers 4. Lee, the creator of Spiderman, The X-Men, Iron Man and others, died Monday afternoon.

Captain America actor Chris Evans mourned the loss of Lee on Twitter.

Stars are speaking out following Stan Lee's death. For decades he provided both young and old with adventure, escape, comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship and joy.

"Thanks for everything Stan Lee!".

In a petition, Lee accused Keya Morgan of taking advantage of him ever since his wife, Joan, had died in 2017 . Three years later he settled the case for $10 million. "I figured I'm not that different from other people".

Lee, a New York City native and pride of Stony Brook in Long Island, served a stint in the Army during World War II, writing for training films. An ambulance was reportedly sent to Lee's residence, and from there, he was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

"Marvel and the entire The Walt Disney Company salute the life and career of Stan Lee and offer their undying gratitude for his unmatchable accomplishments within their halls".

The comic book legend, whose wife of 69 years passed away in 2017, is survived by his daughter JC, who told TMZ: "My father loved all of his fans".
