Fight with Bellew to be 'unbelievably beautiful', - Usyk

And with his victory, Usyk retained his IBF, WBO, WBA and WBC cruiserweight titles, making it 16-0.

"He's given everything to this sport and I am so pleased people have seen the real Tony Bellew".

A courageous Bellew tried to get back to his feet as promoter Eddie Hearn watched on worryingly, but the fight was over and Usyk celebrated his stunning victory before taking the time out to check on Bellew's well-being.

Even Ian Wright offered his own warm praise: 'Like I said to my mates, as long as he gets out of that ring smiling, he's won.

Usyk signed a co-promotional contract with Matchroom Sport when he agreed to fight Bellew, and there are other exciting fights before Joshua, such as the victor of the fight between Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora.

Eddie Hearn has paid tribute to Tony Bellew after he retired from boxing.

Nielsen had previously been Kelly's deputy, and kicking her to the curb could be a way for Trump to rid himself of Kelly too. At least 18 of those were publicly fired, including the most recent firing of former Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

"If it was about money I could have fought a much lesser fighter and earned much more".

Who do you think wins the super fight between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk?

Ultimately the best man on the night won in the form of Usyk but Bellew certainly surprised many by winning the fight on the scorecards at the time of stoppage. After the fight, Usyk's promoter and translator Alexander Krassyuk confirmed that his client was keen to make the jump up to the heavyweight division.

And while Bellew may be walking away from the sport, that spark is still there for one more dance in the squared circle and promises a nasty and disgusting man will stand across from Usyk on Saturday night. He had planned to stop after beating David Haye for a second time, but when Usyk called him out Bellew could not ignore the chance to go for the undisputed world cruiserweight world title. Bellew stepped up to heavyweight and started as underdog for the fights a year ago and in May.

Bellew himself took to social media, thanking Usyk for the opportunity to fight him, labelling him the best he'd ever stepped into the ring with and reasserting that he went out giving his absolute best.

He was joking of course, and we will miss Bellew's wit as well as fighting spirit.
