Is Luke Skywalker an unexpected Ariana Grande fan?

Is Luke Skywalker an unexpected Ariana Grande fan?

Nope. Somehow, one of the greatest recording artists of our time does not already have a pile of Hot 100 No. 1s to her name.

Before she released her new single Thank U, Next, she let two former flames - Big Sean and Ricky Alvarez - hear it in advance. Grande's ode to her ex-boyfriends is her only single (so far) to take a seat on the throne atop the Hot 100.

The 25-year-old singer also becomes the first woman to debut a song at number one since Adele did it with "Hello". However, Grande didn't seem to mind all that much.

Grande proceeds with the chorus, probably the most important of all the song's lyrics, "one taught me love, one taught me patience and one taught me pain - now I'm so wonderful".

Oil extends losses amid spectre of faltering demand
Together with Russian Federation and other non-OPEC producers, OPEC had agreed in June to boost supply after pressure from U.S. Oil markets are being pressured from two sides: a surge in supply and increasing concerns about an economic slowdown.

Pop music gets a bad reputation for superficiality and catering to teenage girls, but Grande's "thank u, next" helps reinvent that perspective and shows how pop songs can be just as powerful as songs from any other genre. Her records Yours Truly, My Everything, and Sweetener all went to No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

There's no official release date or tracklist for Thank U, Next, the album, but the title track is supposed to be the last song on the album, and Grande has hinted that the project will be out before the end of 2018.

"Imagine getting called "one of the most popular artists in the history of showbiz" by Luke Skywalker", the fan says.
